We LOVED our stay here! It was our base camp as we explored historical sites in the Dordogne. The hotel is unique, full of history, character, and personality. The well-appointed rooms have all modern conveniences and are cleaned daily. The proprietors are the nicest people you'll ever meet. Ample outdoor areas, a swimming pool, and a lovely breakfast room add to the ambience. The peaceful surroundings, fresh air, and amazing birdsong make it truly special. The location is a short walk from Sarlat town center, yet far enough to appreciate the beauty of the property.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nestled in an idyllic and serene countryside setting surrounded by natural beauty and clear air. The breakfast was well-presented and sumptuous, with an adequate variety of fresh fruit and pastries. The hotel's location is convenient and was ideal for my business trip.
The access road to the hotel was a bit challenging as it was rough and deeply rutted which could be an issue, especially for those traveling without a car. walking to the nearby city involved a steep road that could be challenging for some people.

We had an amazing stay at a charming country cottage with a modern twist. The owners gave us helpful directions and the location was within walking distance of the medieval town. The room we stayed in was spacious and had a separate area for luggage and clothing. The shower and warming towel rack were a luxurious touch. The pool was clean and the grounds were beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full until late afternoon. I highly recommend this hotel for a delightful and comfortable stay in the southern part of France.
